How to get to Sicily

The main airports in Sicily are Fontanarossa (Catania) and Puntaraisi (Palermo). Many flight companies, line flying  and low cost, fly to Sicily, connecting the Island to the European Countries and with the rest of the world.

Airport web sites provide information on route, flights timetable, prices and availability. Almost all the airports are connected to taxi, bus and train in order to get the Palermo.

The most popular way to reach Palermo from Greece is by air transfer to the island through one of the two airports.

• Aegean maintains the summer season with direct flights from Athens to Catania.
• Τhe Spanish Volotea, which offers the possibility of direct connection of Palermo with the airports of Athens, Zakynthos, Heraklion, Santorini, Corfu and of Rhodes.
• Otherwise, you can use connecting lines, for example via Rome with Ryanair, which usually offers very low fares between Rome-Palermo and Rome-Catania.
